Gestiona Panamá, located at Calle Alberto Navarro, Casa 47, El Cangrejo, Bella Vista, Panama City, Panama, is the controller of the personal data collected through this website (gestionapanama.com).
What data we collect
We only collect data when you choose to write to us through the contact form: name, company (optional), email, phone (optional), the service you're interested in, and your message. We don't create user accounts, don't ask for a password, and don't automatically collect any personal data just from browsing the site beyond what's described below about Google Analytics (we don't use any social media pixel).
If you accept cookies in the banner, we also use Google Analytics, which collects browsing data in aggregate form (pages visited, device, approximate location) to understand how the site is used. It doesn't activate if you choose 'Essential only'.
What we use it for
Only to respond to your message and follow up on the service you asked about. We don't use your data to send unsolicited advertising, and we don't sell it or share it with third parties for marketing purposes.
Who processes your data
Formspree Inc. (formspree.io), based in the United States, handles the technical delivery of the contact form: it receives what you write and forwards it by email to gerencia@gestionapanama.com. Formspree acts as a data processor — it doesn't use your data for any purpose of its own beyond delivering that email to us.
Google Maps, on the Contact page, to show you our location on an embedded map. Google may set its own technical cookies when the map loads, under its own privacy policy.
Google LLC, based in the United States, processes aggregate browsing data through Google Analytics, only if you accept cookies. The same international-transfer note as Formspree applies.
Because Formspree is based outside Panama, your form data crosses the border when you submit it. This is the only international transfer of data tied to your identity on this site, and it only happens if you choose to write to us.
How long we keep your data
We keep the email with your message for as long as our conversation with you is ongoing, or a maximum of 24 months from your last contact if there's no active business relationship after that. We delete it afterward.
Cookies used on this site
Essential: none of our own — this is a static site with no user session.
Third-party (Google Maps): only activate if you visit the Contact page and the map loads. These are Google's technical cookies, not advertising cookies.
Third-party (Formspree): may activate only if you submit the contact form, as part of their spam-prevention system.
Third-party (Google Analytics): only activate if you choose 'Accept' in the banner. They collect usage data in aggregate form and don't identify your name or email.
We don't use advertising or remarketing cookies.
Your rights under Panama's Law 81
Under Panama's Law 81 of 2019 on Personal Data Protection, you have the right to:
Access: find out what data we hold about you.
Rectification: correct inaccurate or outdated data.
Cancellation: ask us to delete your data.
Opposition: object to a specific use of your data.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at gerencia@gestionapanama.com with your name and the data you want to review, correct, delete, or object to. We'll respond within a reasonable period as required by law.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. We don't store your data in our own database — it only lives in the email that Formspree forwards to us.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we'll publish the new version on this same page along with the update date.
